Professor Chao Liu Joins the International Research Network on AI Development and Governance (AIR Net)<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

From October 28 to 29, 2025, the ANSO General Conference 2025 \u2014 Science and Innovation for a Sustainable Future \u2014 was successfully held in Beijing. During the conference, the Forum on AI Development and Governance officially announced the establishment of the International Research Network on AI Development and Governance (AIR Net).<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Supported by the Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO), AIR Net is an international academic collaboration platform initiated by interdisciplinary researchers in artificial intelligence from across the globe. The network aims to promote the development of benevolent and human-centered AI, foster AI safety and ethical governance, and enhance international cooperation toward inclusive and sustainable innovation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Professor Chao Liu has been invited to join AIR Net as an inaugural member. He will collaborate with experts and representatives from China, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, New Zealand, Russia, Brazil, Thailand, Romania, Greece, and UNESCO to advance joint research activities, scholarly exchange, and consensus building within the network.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the launch event, AIR Net issued a consensus statement titled \u201cThe Mission and Responsibilities of Scholars in AI Development and Governance,\u201d establishing a foundational direction for future research collaboration and global AI governance initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n
